We started in 2000 doing exactly what we do now: replacing windows and siding on North Jersey houses. No national brand above us, no call centre routing your job to whichever crew is free that week. When you call, you reach the people who will be standing in your driveway.
Most of our work is within twenty minutes of the shop on Cottage Place. That is deliberate. Bergen, Passaic, Essex and Hudson counties are full of houses built between the 1920s and the 1960s, and after twenty-five years we know what is usually behind the siding before we take it off — which rot to expect on a 1930s colonial, which window openings are never square, which town wants which permit.
That local knowledge is most of why our prices hold. A contractor who has not seen your kind of house before has to guess, and guesses get corrected halfway through the job — usually upward. We measure every opening, price what we find, and put it in writing before anything comes off the wall.
We are not the cheapest quote you will get. We are the one that still costs what it said it would when the crew drives away, and the one that answers when you call two winters later.

No quote goes out over the phone or off a photo. Every opening and every wall gets measured in person, because a price given before that is a guess someone has to correct later.
We do not subcontract installations. The people who show up are the people we trained, and they are the reason the workmanship warranty is worth anything.
When the siding comes off and there is rot underneath, you get photos and a price before we touch it. Nothing gets repaired and added to the invoice afterwards.
If your siding has eight good years left, we will say so rather than sell you a replacement. Half our work comes from people we sent away the first time.
We take out one window at a time and close it the same day. Your house is not exposed overnight, and it is not full of dust for a fortnight.
The same number you called for the quote reaches us in year three. This is the part most contractors are worst at, and it is the main reason people call us back.

We had to change our 2 of entrance doors and basement door and 10 of inside doors. I met other contractors, but Dennis got us reasonable price with 25 years of warranty. And what I like the most of him was the communication. When he ordered the door, he triple checked what we needed to make sure to get us right door. And when his team works, they really pay attention to the detail as well as the finish. It is very impressive how they covered all our personal items to not to get the dust and they clean up with vacuum after work is done. Also their work ethic was very good, they were kind and worked on time. Lastly, I have worked with other contractors, but what I like the most with Dennis was that he always shows up during the work checks his team work and make sure installation is properly done. Now it has been couple weeks after the installation, we are very satisfied with the quality doors.
